Christina and I both found our winter escape homes in Cape Town. One season, a videographer and friend of mine, Lars Wendt, decided to introduce us.

When Lars believes we’ll get along well, we both trust him. So, we started chatting on Instagram. We quickly discovered that both our partners love flying, and that was a good sign.

We met up for a small concert in Noordhoek, hung out a few times, and decided to do our first shoot together.

One year later, Christina had an offer to shoot for the prosthesis company UNYQ and suggested me as a photographer. UNYQ agreed, and we organized another photoshoot, in line with the company’s requirement of an urban and natural outdoor setting that wouldn’t distract from the model and product. The shoot was a mix of portraits, product focus, and some candid shots in between.
