Laura Malina Seiler

Laura and I first met in 2016 or 2017 at the Awesome People Conference. It was a small event back then, with 20-25 people in a cozy café. She was a speaker, and I was one of the attendees. After the conference, we grabbed dinner, talked about Cape Town, and decided to share accommodation on our next visit down south.

Soon, we found ourselves living together in Cape Town. My (back then) boyfriend, Hannes, encouraged us to take some photos in and around our Airbnb. What started with some random candid shots during our trip, turned into a deep friendship, and we created many incredible photos together since then.

Laura once said about working with me: „For me, there’s no better photographer. I always feel comfortable around you because I know you have so much love to give and would never judge anyone. I can just be myself.”

Our journey led us to various adventures and travels. We explored places like Mallorca, France, Denmark, Austria, and even had a team trip to Los Angeles and Hawaii. Our California trip stands out as a personal highlight. Meeting Jay Shetty, Lewis Howes, and actress Anna Lynn McCord for Lauras podcast Happy, Holy & Confident during that journey added a touch of magic to the experience.

People often ask if we’re siblings due to our similar appearance and speech. However, we’re not related by blood. We’re soul sisters, connected by heart and purpose.
