Wanda and I first crossed paths at a studio party in Berlin, what seems like a lifetime ago. It was during the early stages of my photography career, and we had a photoshoot together, creating black and white emotion-portraits that once graced her modeling portfolio at her former agency.
Over the years, we managed to reconnect, despite periods of not seeing each other for extended periods of time. Approximately a decade later, we organized some more photoshoots for her business, one in Berlin and another in Munich.
If Wanda’s face doesn’t immediately ring a bell, you might still have a sense of familiarity with her. She gained recognition as a contestant on Germany’s Next Top Model, where she placed fourth, or from her appearances in various TV commercials and movies, such as „Same Same But Different.“ She also ventured into photography before discovering her true passion as a yoga instructor in Bali. Today, she is a renowned yoga teacher, speaker, podcaster, and author, residing in Portugal with her family.
